There was a huge problem in my 5th-grade math classroom: every student was working at their own pace, some needed more time to understand concepts, some were ready to move on, and others were just disengaged. Attend this session to learn the steps used to implement a self-paced math classroom, learn the tools which will help in managing the learning, and the benefits that you and your students will reap. Learn from one teacher’s self-paced personalized learning journey, and how district administration is supporting the movement toward this model.
