Sal DeAngelo is currently the Superintendent of Schools for the Chatham Central School District, located in Columbia County. Sal previously served as the Chief Technology Officer for the Bethlehem Central School District, where he spearheaded many emerging technology initiatives and best practices. He also managed technology projects in the Schenectady City School District for more than 25 years and was an influence behind some of the programs and opportunities which continue to thrive in the Capital Region today. While in Schenectady he served as Project Director for a U.S. Department of Education Technology Innovation Challenge Grant called ProjectVIEW, and several other grant projects. He currently serves as Past-President on the Board of Directors for NYSCATE, The New York State Association for Computers and Technologies in Education. He holds a Doctorate in Educational Administration from the Sage College of Albany, a CAS from the College of Saint Rose in Educational Administration, an MBA from Norwich University in Vermont, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
